Tomorrow I'll be posting some Mega Man X fan art, so come back soon!

I wasn't exactly going for creepy, but she may have turned out a bit that way! This is my version of a naiad. Missvirginia (one of my biggest fans) requested this one. I think this naiad is also kind of cute, but the drippy hair and water might have too much in common with horror movies. I'll have to play around with naiad designs again in the future. Tomorrow I'll be posting some Mega Man X fan art, so come back soon!

I managed to draw another steampunk-ish mechanized Pokemon! This is Raichu, the evolved form of Pikachu. Don't hate me, but I've actually always preferred Raichu to Pikachu. That is all. If you're dying to see some fan art of your favorite something-or-other, leave a comment below and I will draw it for Fan Art Friday! Okay, that is really all. The wonderful Missvirginia requested a cloth study for Tangible Tuesday. I don't think this is exactly what you expected, but I've been stuck at work all day. That means I couldn't really draw, but I am allowed to work on the computer when I don't have people to help. So this is a cloth study done in Adobe Illustrator. I like how it turned out, but I basically drew it right over the top of a reference photo I got from AilinStock, so a lot of the credit goes to the nice photo--click here to see it. Next time I'll try and do a study from life with pen or pencil, but this was still good practice. I'll be posting Wednesday's pic later today as well, so get super excited! I already have a request for Thursday's sketch, but I'm looking for a Fan Art Friday suggestion! You can post it here or in the comments section on any of my posts. Yes. I just decided to have fun for this Monster Monday. I wanted to draw a tree creature and this little guy is what came out of my pen! I've decided I need to spend less time on these sketches so that I can have enough time to work on other art projects. My goal is to spend between 30 and 60 minutes each day on my blog sketch. This guy took about 45 minutes from start to finish. I have some requests coming up this week, so come back soon! I got behind on the blog last week, but this is part of the reason why! My brother Mark had the coolest idea for Fan Art Friday--mixing Samurai Jack and Ninja Turtles--two of our favorites! I spent more time on this than I usually will for my blog posts, but I was having so much fun that I couldn't stop! It should be obvious who Splinter and Shredder are based on (Jack and Aku), but the Turtles are each based on more obscure Samurai Jack characters. The first person to correctly identify all four by posting the answer in the comments will win a special art prize of your choice! I'm a little slow at posting Tuesday's drawing, but here it is! I'm slowly drawing and painting my friend Shannon's five children (this is my third of the five pieces). I based this on a photo taken by Shannon. Her kids are darling and her photography is great! You can check out her work on deviantART. I won't be posting a pic here for Watercolor Wednesday today. However, if you need a watercolor fix, I have posted the watercolor version of Monday's monster drawing (steampunk Wartortle) here! Here is my second mechanized Pokemon! Steven suggested I try Wartortle next, and I'm pretty happy with my version of him. I made his head look a little more like a real turtle. I'll be adding some watercolor to this piece tomorrow. Stay tuned to either my facebook or deviantART pages as I will be posting the colored version in both of those locations. I spent a lot of my day working at the library, so I didn't draw anything besides Wartortle. However, I did do a bunch of research for upcoming pieces, and tomorrow I should have lots of time to draw! Hello! I've been a bit under the weather this week, but I've still managed to do a fair amount of artwork! This beauty was supposed to be for Watercolor Wednesday, but it also fits for Fan Art Friday! I tried, the "messy" look for this picture of the Joker from Batman: The Animated Series (which truly is the definitive Batman cartoon). I hope you like it Missvirginia! Thanks for visiting my blog so often! I've also redrawn 5 out of the 20 pages of Tantum Gray #1, and I'm hoping to have the remaining 15 pages done by the end of February. I'm still working on Erika's pieces for her office, but what I have finished looks amazing (in my opinion, and Erika agrees). I'm also working on a steampunk piece that I've been commissioned for and I'm really excited about it! As for next week, I already have suggestions for Monday and Friday, but Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are still available for requests! (I just saw why that isn't a commonly used acronym!) Besides showing off this lovely doodle of mine, I wanted to clarify the request process for my sketches:
